| Hi people Long time no hear. I haven't even thought about go back on this site until I got an email from my friend. Actually my ex-maid of honour, Angela. That's right I'm married and I'm happy. Really really happy. | | |
| Ah Terry's gone to Oakland to watch the Raider's game...he'll be back on Tuesday and I still have to get his present!! Argh...he always makes it so hard for me...I guess thats half the fun though. Shit I went to the Museum on Anthropology on Friday for 'happy hour" all they had to drink is wine and beer so I had wine. I hate wine and I get drunk off it so easy. I thought is was just the interns who were coming to happy hour so I didn't really care if I drunk alot while I socialized then I see that all these Anth. profs, curators and the Acting Director himself are in the corner having a discussion. Well I tried very hard to say smart things while I was buzzed...so my last entry would be me drunk while writing Terry sucks and Terry added nicely and I added not. It was all good I wasn't sticking out like a sore thumb during happy hour and Michael, the acting Director thought I should be 'put to work' when I announced that I was just there for happy hour...that would be cool if I got a job there. | | |
| terry sucks nicely not!!! this is MY entry! I'm stealing his office | | |
| I'm so glad that my finals are done and I can breathe normally again. I went to this field school classmate's b-day party. It was a bit of a bore but I got to see two other field school survivors, Morgan and Anirudh (the guy who had thing for me up in camp). Anirudh got there first and sat at our table. He was talking to Jen and Alice (she had a BIG thing for Anirudh up in camp). Terry and I were holding hands and just acting like our normal selves. Then he went to do some jelly shots with Ryan. I sat in Terry's seat and Anirudh took Alice's so we were sitting beside eachother. He was totally trying to mak on me. He was asking questions like, "How's your life?" "What's new with you?" He was tickling me and putting his arm around me. I had a feeling Terry saw all this and then Terry sat down beside me but he didn't say anything to Anirudh. Later on Terry told me that he wanted to but he thought I could handle the situation. That meant alot to me. Anyway, Anirudh asks me if I have a boyfriend and I point to Terry. Anirudh got kinda mad...we talked a little more but after that he didn't want to talk anymore. Oh well. Morgan came a little later and brought some SFU guys with him...they were sweet. They were like, "Morgan why do you know all the beautiful girls."
(he's the one with the 1994 white t-shirt sitting down. Isn't he adorable?)
That was Terry's cue to put his arms around me and introduce himself...always making an entrance. Last night I had this very deep conversation with Alice. I showed her who she was and what people see in her. She made a big mistake with our friendship but I called her last night because I wanted her to understand what it means to be a friend, what the unspoken rules are etc. By the end of the two hour conversation she FINALLY cracked and stopped talking behind her mask. I think she REALLY gets it now and for once she sounds sincere. Today Terry's in Port Moody being an Archaeologist's field assistant. Haha he had to get up @ 6:00am this morning to start work at 7:30am haha. Oh the glamour of being an Archaeologist. Which reminds me...that the next time I go to the Ash I have to give the Lower Similkameen Band a peice of my mind...totally not being helpful when I needed their info...politics! Katie losing weight during Christmas break is like not feeling hot in summer...maybe you should set that goal when the environment is not so tempting eh? | | |
| The Snoop Dogg concert was insane! I've never been to something like that. I was so sore the next day. This one guy wanted to get by so he elbowed me in the face! Terry grabbed his arm and put his arm over it and put a lot of pressure on his arm. Terry had his cousins with him so they created a circle around me. I had my own security. Before the concert I had to go to Terry's co-worker Christmas party. I thought is was going to be boring with a whole bunch of stuck up profs and museum curators etc. but it was pretty fun. I was allowed to have three free drinks so I had two cosmos and a smirnoff. I was pretty buzzed and I managed to woo the crowd. (maybe it had something to do with my very very low V-neck that I bought the day before) Terry met my parents officially on Mon. I was so nervous. Oddly enough he got along more with my father than my mom. She's being a bit of a bitch when it comes to Terry. Probably because of his age. Whatever he's a great guy and with time she'll like him. I'm very happy. Now I just have to deal with finals and I'll be able to fully chill. My finals finish on Dec.12 (Fri.) so everyone keep Sat 13th free so we can do something. I miss you guys. | | |
